Just follow these steps to update Apex Legends from PS4 to PS5.
- Navigate to Game Hub for Apex Legends in the PS5 dashboard.
- Press the option key next to play game
- Press Select Version and select the PS5 version to download the updated version of the next generation.
- After completing the download, navigate to the play library to delete the PS4 version.
How to update Apex Legends on Xbox Series X | S
On Xbox the upgrade process is much easier. The game uses Smart Delivery, so you only have to download the latest Apex Legends update and you will see the X | S icon as soon as the update is installed. That’s all!
